Wayne sleeps hot in the summer and I wanted to find something to swap out my down comforter with. We already had Red Land Cotton’s Duvet Cover in white, the hemstitched white sheets and Ticking Stripe set so I popped over to their website to see if there was a good option for something lighter for the summer. I was so excited to find they now offer a Matelasse Bedspread. It immediately reminded me of my grandmothers. I love antiques, embroidery, engraving and exquisite detail and this bedspread reminds me of all those things. It has a good weight to it without being too heavy.

Wish List:

I would love to eventually add a few items. I would love another set of the Ticking Stripe Sheets in the king size with the Ticking Stripe Quilt and Shams. When we moved and I could finally get a king size bed again we did but our queen Ticking Stripe Sheets went to my son, great for him but sad for me. I would also love the Matelasse Pillow Shams to match the bedspread. The Powder Blue Matelasse Throw is so beautiful and I would love it for our living room.
