Ashton contacted us weeks ago about photographing his marriage proposal at Bellingrath Gardens. We Zoomed with him shortly after to map out a plan. He was traveling from Birmingham, Alabama and had never been to Bellingrath but fell in love with what he had seen on our blog of other sessions. We wanted to make sure he had everything he needed for it to be perfect.

Fast forward to a week before, rain is forecasted. Ashton never broke stride, he was completely confident that it would still be amazing and we could capture everything he wanted. We were still hoping day of the rain would pause but low and behold Mobile held true to its reputation. We contacted the sweet girls at Bellingrath and let them know all the plans and they helped us serve Ashton every step of the way. We arrived early with clear umbrellas and delivered them to Rebecca at Bellingrath and asked her to meet the couple in the garden and deliver them on behalf of the garden to make their stroll more enjoyable. We were able to text Ashton ahead of time to let him know they were coming and that we were ready when he was.

The moment was absolutely magical and afterward Izzy said she wouldn’t have changed a thing. The rain made it even more special! Ashton did an amazing job planning everything but most importantly he did an amazing job choosing Izzy. She is precious!
