What’s in our gear bag? This is a question we are often asked so we finally had time to sit down and actually write it out. We are Sony users. Justine grew up shooting film and absolutely loved it and when digital first came out, she hated it! It took her years to find a digital camera that she finally fell in love with. When Sony came out with the A6000 our brother in law (a studio photographer) told us we should check it out. That year Wayne bought it for Justine for Christmas and we haven’t looked back. If you are looking for a camera we highly recommend it. This is now our sons first camera, he loves photography too.
Sony just released the A6400 and it looks amazing. One of the great things about these cameras is their portability and amazing fast autofocus. So if you want a great camera for travel, kids, and everything in between we highly recommend them.
So what do we carry to our weddings?
Camera: We shoot with the Sony A7iii and either the A9 or the A7riii.
Lenses: gmaster 24-70, gmaster 70-200, 85mm 1.8, 35mm 1.4, 70mm macro (the 90 mm macro is on our wish list)
