Mark picked out the perfect ring, planned the perfect location and then contacted us to capture the moment. He planned all this from Minnesota. We instantly fell in love with Mark during our Facetime conversation, planning their trip to Gulf Shores Alabama.

After months of planning it was finally the big day.  It ended up being cold but this played out in our favor because the beach was empty. Wayne and I had already scouted the location, but we got there early to make sure everything was perfect. After choosing where we would be hidden we got our cameras set and all that was left was to wait.

Mark and Jessica came down the boardwalk heading to the pier at Gulf State Park.  Once they passed us we sprang into action. There was one family that had started collecting sea shells where Mark was going to stop but he never missed a beat. We had discussed earlier that we would make adjustments as needed so he was perfectly ready. He stopped and talked to Jess then dropped down to one knee. Her reaction was priceless.  Needless to say she had no idea what was about to happen.

After the initial shock was over Wayne and I introduced ourselves to Jessica and let her know that Mark had arranged an engagement session for the two of them and we would love to have her input on location. She choose Alabama Point where the rocks reach out into the ocean.

It was so much fun to capture the joy and excitement these two have for each other.  We know exactly why Mark choose Jessica, she is precious! They are perfect together.  Mark and Jess thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of such a wonderful time in your lives.
