Ocean Springs engagement, Alyssa and Andy

Alyssa reached out to us from Miami, where she is currently stationed, to see if we could do their engagement session in Ocean Springs MS while she was visiting her fiancée Andy. Ocean Springs is where Alyssa and Andy first met when they were both stationed there a couple years ago. They both work for NOAA.

These two were amazing to be with. I laughed so much my cheeks hurt. I think you’ll be able to tell just how much they love each other by the way they interact together. Alyssa has the best giggle and Andy’s dimples are the cutest. Another thing that made this day so special is it was Andy’s birthday!

The Proposal:

“It has been a little over a month now but when I look down at my hand I still get giddy. On January 2, 2020 Andy asked me to be his wife and I could not be happier! He told me he had a nice restaurant he wanted to try on Brickell Key in Miami. He also mentioned a park right by the restaurant that had amazing views of the sunset, of Biscayne Bay, and of the Miami skyline. We started getting ready for dinner and of course I was running a little behind because I needed time to do my hair and makeup!

He started to get a little tense and fidgeting and I had no idea why! In the Uber he said “Sorry I am just hangry.” Little did I know, he had the ring in his pocket! He told me after the fact that he couldn’t hide the box anywhere, so the ring was loose in the bottom of his pants pocket and he was terrified it was going to fall out. It even got stuck on his finger when we were leaving as he put his hand in his pocket to grab his phone!

We got to the park and started walking around and it was one of the prettiest nights in Miami! The skyline was all lit up, the sun had just set and there was a slight breeze coming in from the bay. We got to the part of the park closest to the water and while looking out over the bay he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! The moment was so surreal and perfect I couldn’t imagine a better proposal!” Aly

Destination engagement sessions are so much fun. We love living on the coast and getting to meet so many amazing people. Alyssa and Andy we had so much fun with you guys! May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you!
