Downtown Mobile Elopement with Heather and Justin
Heather and Justin had a beautiful wedding planned for April with all their family and friends but ended up settling for a downtown elopement for now. Unfortunately because of all the shut downs due to Covid-19 they were not able to have the wedding they had originally planned for. They decided they wanted to go ahead and get married now and reschedule their celebration at a later date. Heather asked us if we would meet them at the court house so we could document their day and of course we said yes. Any time we get to spend with our amazing couples is a win for us!
Wedding Day Surprises
We have included some behind the scenes footage we wouldn’t normally add but we feel like it helps tell the story better. We contacted Shelia at Rose Bud Flowers and asked her if she could still create Heather’s bouquet for us so we could surprise her. Shelia was fantastic and immediately said she would love to go in with us to create this for her! She had it ready morning of the elopement for us to pick up. When Heather and Justin came out of the court house her reaction was better than we could have expected. So much of what she had been planning was taken away from her, it was such an honor to give her something that was a part of her original dream wedding day!
Husband and Wife Portraits
We went to the Federal Courthouse where Justin works to take their husband and wife portraits. It was the perfect place for them and the light was amazing. They had several people congratulate them and stop to watch. I mean look at them, they are gorgeous. We love the way you can feel their love for one another through their pictures. Heather and Justin we couldn’t be more excited for you two. We cannot wait to get to celebrate with you again!
