The Steeple on St. Francis Wedding

Katherine and Phillip are two of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their wedding day was absolutely perfect. When we arrived at The Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Mobile the girls were finishing their hair and makeup and preparing to head over to The Steeple on St. Francis. Katherine waited and put on her dress at The Steeple in the bridal room. I love all the antique fixtures at The Steeple and all the restoration that has taken place in what used to be St. Francis Methodist Church.

After the girls finished getting ready, Katherine and her dad shared a first look, and I have to say it was so precious. I could just envision Katherine as a little girl playing dress up and saying “do you like my dress daddy”? The trolley picked up the girls and transported them to The Cathedral where we did outdoor portraits. When little Ollie arrived he definitely stole the show. What a precious ring bearer! He ran straight to Katherine when he saw her; it was such a sweet moment.

Once all the girls were finished, they went to hide, and the trolley picked up the guys to bring them to the church. When I saw Phillip, I told him Katherine was beautiful, and he immediately smiled and said “I know”. It was the sweetest moment to see him light up at the sound of her name. The ceremony was beautiful. All the little smiles and private conversations between Katherine and Phillip were so much fun to watch. The joy they share is so contagious.

Katherine and Phillip thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special day. We couldn’t be more excited for the two of you. You both have such precious families. We pray that the Lord will bless your marriage and that it will reflect Christ and the Church.

We are incredibly thankful for all the amazing people who made this day so special. We are also very grateful for Katherine’s sweet sister Elizabeth who made sure all the details were picture perfect!
