We first met Amy and Ben over a Zoom call because Amy was stationed over seas with the Navy. We instantly fell in love with these two. They described their wedding day at Lake Guntersville State Park and we were so excited about the epic views. Little did we know then that there would be a tropical storm heading their way that day.
We arrived Friday before the wedding so we could location scout the area. The lake is absolutely breath taking. We witnessed the most beautiful sun sets we have ever seen. Saturday morning we woke up to cloudy skies and by 10 am the rain had set in. It rained the entire day with no breaks. This is not what Amy and Ben had originally envisioned. This also changes a lot of things on our end because we had to shoot with flash the entire day, from the details to the exit. Even though it seemed like there were great obstacles we came prepared and everything went perfectly. We were able to sneak Amy and Ben outside using the the second floor deck for a few outdoor portraits.
Amy and Ben we are so honored to be a part of such a beautiful day. Your family and friends are great. Everything turned out stunning and we are so excited for you both! We pray that you will continue to fall in love more and more every day.
