Katherine and Dalton wanted to have their engagement photos at Bellingrath Gardens because this is a very special place to them. This is where Dalton asked Katherine to prom, and it’s also where Dalton asked Katherine to marry him. They visit the gardens often and knew all their favorite locations. 

When we arrived at Bellingrath Gardens it started to sprinkle but only for a few minutes. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon and the roses and hydrangeas were in full bloom. Katherine loves hydrangeas so we stayed on the lookout for them as we traveled through the garden. We enjoyed every minute as we talked about Mr. and Mrs. Bellingrath and how Mrs. Bellingrath oversaw the garden construction. It is such an amazing story and if you’ve never been and done the house tour we would highly recommend it. 

Katherine and Dalton we are so glad you two had time to travel down from Huntsville to hang out with us in one of the most beautiful locations on the planet. We cannot wait till April when we see you guys again. May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you.
