Grant reached out to us about photographing his proposal at The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama. We love to video chat with our guys before the proposal so we can get to know them and walk them through every step, from where we will be, to the exact location of the best light for the event. We instantly fell in love with him. 

Mary Elliott was completely surprised. Her reaction was priceless. I have to say, it’s one of my favorites because it reminded me of when Wayne asked and I got in the floor with him. She also said later, “oh did I even answer you” which I also remember saying. We all knew exactly what her answer was even if she didn’t say anything. After the moment they called their families to share the big news and their immediate families came to congratulate them. Grant had the center stone cut to exactly 2.10 carats to remind Mary Elliott of the verse he prays over her. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Grant and Mary Elliott it was such a joy to be a part of this season in your lives. Your love for one another and the Lord is evident. Your light is so bright. We pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you. May He bless your marriage to glorify His great name.
